Poly Systems has designed a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite and payload launching capability utilising our HVL~CO Weapon Technology.

The Poly Systems technology for launching PICO and NANO satellites uses a sabot projectile with an end of launch tube velocity of 7920+ metres per second.

In comparison with current, high cost launch facilities, the HVL~CO technology offers low costs in unit construction, launch site installations and multiple per day launches, due to lack of operational heat and innovative rapid reloading protocol.

An Australian CRCSS observer and overseas commercial representatives attended a demonstration of the HVL~CO technology on 16 November, 2001.

The low-cost, easily relocated satellite-payload launching capability is being co-operatively developed in Australia for civilian communications and bushfire use and for military observation-payload work. Discussions have been held with NASA (Mars Project) and the US Military.

The HVL~CO LEO Launcher has been independently validated by a leading, international scientific organisation.
